The DOC NOMADS Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree (EMJMD) in the field of Documentary Filmmaking is an international graduate program delivered by an association of three distinguished European universities across three countries: Portugal, Hungary, and Belgium.
Each year, about twenty-four students from all around the world join the program and follow a mobility track from Lisbon to Brussels, via Budapest. In doing so, students are immersed within diverse cultural environments, learning how to use their abilities outside their normal social contexts and overcome difficulties they may face.
The program duration is two years and it’s a full-time program taught in English. During the 4 semesters of the program, students complete subjects that are worth 120 credit and make about 100 films, which various festivals usually include in their programs.
This master’s course is dedicated to students from all over the world who hold a bachelor’s degree in film studies, media communication, or Art studies

This program is quite intensive, it’s for students who are committed to taking advantage of the learning opportunities the program provides in order to improve their skills. The program demands so much study and work hours and pushes students to face new experiences every time.
